Celtic have been scouting and are considering a move for Gent's Belgian under-20 international Yassine El Ghanassy.

Bhoy's scout John Kennedy has made trips to watch the 20-year-old play on at least two occasions, including Gent's 2-0 victory over KV Kortrijk on which occasion El Ghanassy scored.

El Ghanassy has recently been called up to the Belgian national team, and has played 18 times for the Belgian under-20 side, scoring seven goals.

“I would urge any of my players to sign for Celtic,” his agent Dudu Dahan said in a recent interview.

“He’s an extraordinary talent, a real magician [and] a real player for the fans.”
