Last night Barcelona v Chelsea Champions League semi-final truly had it all, including a late twist in Sky Sports' Geoff Shreeves breaking the heart of Branislav Ivanovic on live TV.
After an unforgettable night of Champions League football and a highly unlikely two-leg victory for Chelsea, one could easily put the team's quartet of suspensions resulting from the game aside and revel in their success. Not Sky Sports' post-game interview Geoff Shreeves, however.
Though Roberto Di Matteo's men will now march on to the Champions League final against Real Madrid or Bayern Munich without the suspended quartet of a sent off John Terry and teammates Ramires, Branislav Ivanovic and Raul Meireles, someone evidently didn't inform Ivanovic during the actual game.
This led to one of the most awkward and upsetting post-game exchanges of the season, as Shreeves rather cruelly inform Ivanovic not once but twice that the defender can play no part in next month's final. If you listen carefully above you can actually hear his heart break...
Cruel as the exchange may have been, it led to some fantastic humourous tweets last night regarding Shreeves, so here are a few of our favourites:
