Leeds United are ‘in great shape, with superb assets and a great future ahead of her’, just like Pamela Anderson, according to the man hoping to complete the takeover of the club.

Bahrain-based Gulf Finance House (GFH) are moving closer to buying the Yorkshire-based outfit and the deputy chief executive David Haigh has made the comparison between the Championship club and former Baywatch babe.
'Leeds is like a young Pamela Anderson. It's in great shape, with superb assets and a great future ahead of her,” Haigh is quoted as saying in today's Daily Mail.
Haigh, who happens to be a Leeds fan, said that talks began in June and is confident a deal will go through in the next three weeks.
The comparison isn’t as far-fetched as you may think initially. Both were more successful in the 90’s and a big part of our Saturday’s, but now we hardly ever see either party.
Significantly the assets in both have also deflated considerably in recent years.
