Leyton Orient have cleared up any confusion surrounding who David Beckham will be playing in his final game of professional football.
By Declan Whooley
Yesterday Goldenballs announced that after a distinguished career right around the globe, he is calling time on his career, with this season to be his last.
He has signed off this year with a small contribution to PSG’s Ligue 1 title success and now he has just two games left before he jets off into the sunset.
Brest are the opposition this weekend, before he bows out the following Sunday against Lorient. Yes that’s right, Lorient, a team that is spelt similar to League One side Leyton Orient.
The club showed they were quick off the mark by jumping on the Beckham bandwagon to clear up any confusion that the London-born player would be finishing his career in his home city.

So all hop along the Lorient Express before the final stop.
