Mario Balotelli would like to be in the UFC…yeah that sounds about right

Mario Balotelli has said he would like to be a UFC fighter, which actually makes a lot of sense...

At JOE we have been suffering from Mario Balotelli-mad-story-withdrawal-syndrome since the European Championships ended and the news that he potentially may be a father.

Luckily the Man City and Italy ace is back with a vengeance today saying that he would like to have been a UFC fighter.

"If I wasn't a footballer, I probably would've wanted to be a UFC fighter I really love it," said Super Mario seriously.

In fairness the muscle-bound striker certainly has the physique and fiery temperament to have made a top class UFC fighter.

Mario looks like he'd have the guns to take on Anderson Silva at least

There might be something in the water in Manchester as Balotelli isn’t the first City player to state his love for the sport, Man City-alumni and fellow headline-grabber Stephen Ireland has also said in the past he enjoys the sport and trains in it during the pre-season.

Balotelli’s comments came at the launch of City’s new jersey, which he seemed totally unenthusiastic about.  He also spoke about his friendship and admiration or rap star Drake. You can check the full video below.
