Well played Everton, very well played indeed.

We’re sure there were any number of football fans frustrated at the postponement of Premier League fixtures last night, but none more so than Malaysian Everton fan Ric Wee, who has supported the Toffees for 30 years but was due to watch his first game in the flesh last night. That was until Everton’s game with Crystal Palace at Goodison Park fell victim to the weather and, as we reported last night, it looked as if Wee was going to be sh*t out of luck on what should have been one of his most memorable days supporting the Blues.   As it turned out, Wee had an arguably even more memorable night as after Everton learned of his fate, they arranged for him to visit the dressing room and the players’ lounge, where he met manager Roberto Martinez and full-back Leighton Baines amongst others.               Mad props to Everton for what was a very classy touch.
