Piers Morgan cut down to size with Man United fan’s brilliant response to Alex Ferguson tweet

In fairness, he had it coming.
Like him or loathe him – and there are quite a lot of people who would subscribe to the latter theory – Piers Morgan is certainly an influential character on Twitter, regularly courting controversy amongst his millions of followers for his opinions on a wide range of subjects, but most notably football and his beloved Arsenal. Along with Spurs, Manchester United are quite often the target of Morgan’s baiting and they were again last night when he sent a bullish tweet in the direction of Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and Robin van Persie ahead of the clash between the sides at Old Trafford on Sunday.
