Brazilian wonderkid Neymar is on his way to joining Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid just hours after Chelsea were linked with signing the Santos star.
Reports in Spanish newspapers reveal the 19-year-old will hold contract talks with the Galacticos after a fee believed to be in the region of €40m was agreed between the clubs.
Chelsea, due to be given new management in the form of ex-Porto boss Andre Villas-Boas, had made Neymar one of their top targets this summer but landing the Samba star has now slipped through their fingers.
The much sought after striker is due to play his final game in a Santos shirt tonight in the Copa Libertadores final.
Recently questioned on the lure of joining one of the biggest clubs in the world and the opportunity to play Champions League football, Neymar made it clear it he has always dreamt of the big time.
"Of course it is (a dream), just like it is for all the players in the world.
"To play in that competition is a privilege and I hope to do so one day. I want to play in World Cups and play in the best leagues."
