Ricardo Quaresma accused of exposing himself and p*ssing on staff member by Besiktas

Remember Ricardo Quaresma? Whatever memories you may have of the Portuguese winger are about to be replaced by a quite disturbing story coming out of Turkey.

The man once known for his outside of the boot crosses and for having a surname that opened itself up to easy newspaper headlines has been with Turkish side Besiktas since 2010, having previously played for Barcelona, Inter, Porto and Chelsea as well as accumulating 35 caps for the Portuguese national side.

It’s doubtful whether the 29-year old will remain in Turkey for much longer, however, with allegations surfacing that he exposed his genitals to a female member of staff and peed on another staff member who looked after the team’s equipment.

According to Kickette.com, the allegations are being made by a Besiktas board member, Ahmed Nur Cebi, who claims that Quaresma’s exposing of his bits and subsequent use of them to pee on a member of staff is the real reason he is out of favour and not because of anything to do with money. Quaresma had €750k knocked off a €3.75 million salary at the start of the season as Besiktas are said to be struggling to pay the bills at the moment.

It will hardly surprise you to learn that Quaresma plans to contest those claims and sue the Besiktas board for what could be incredibly damaging allegations.

Kinda puts that whole handshake lark earlier in the Premier League season into a bit of perspective, doesn't it?
