Republic of Ireland striker Kevin Doyle may have been frozen out at international level, but he is still on Neil Lennon’s wish list.

A loss of form this season has seen the goals dry up for the Wolves man – though he did get on the scoresheet at the weekend – and Trap has decided to leave the Wexford man out of the squad for the international double-header with Sweden and Austria.
While the striker revealed in February that he was sure he was joining Celtic during the January transfer window, the move broke down, Lennon has said that he will consider a second bid with top-striker Gary Hooper rumoured to be on his way in the summer.
“I'm a big admirer of Kevin obviously - I tried to take him in January. I think he's a quality player. He is that all-round type of centre-forward that I really like,” he is quoted as saying in many of today’s newspapers.
“I can't talk about another club's player - I don't want to disrespect Wolves. But we wanted him.”
When asked if he would consider making a second approach for the former Reading striker, the Celtic boss admitted that it is something he will have to ponder.
“I'll think about it,” was as much as he was giving away.
As the D:Ream song goes, things can only get better.
