There may be room for Bebe at United after all
Sir Alex Ferguson has said Bebe may be a Red Devil after all.
With Fergie saying Berbatov can go many would have put money that Bebe would be the next flop out the door.
After a cruciate knee ligament injury while on loan in Turkey last year, poor form, ill-discipline and the overall transfer controversy surrounding the Portuguese striker, many thought Bebe would be out the door soon as he gave Man United nothing but headaches.
However his goal tonight in friendly in South Africa against Ajax Cape Town may not only have salvaged Man United a 1-1 draw, but also quite possibly the Man United striker’s career.
The United boss said after the match that there’s a possibility there’s room for him at the club after all and he’s quick becoming a good headache.
“We’ll see how the season progresses for him, but it gives me a headache in terms of number of strikers we have there. That’s not a bad thing, though.
“He had his loan at Besiktas and then picked up the bad injury which kept him out for most of the season.
“That is probably his first game for about eight months, so he will be pleased to be back playing and pleased he scored a goal.”
