Oh dear.
The following will not make pleasant reading for Manchester United fans hoping David Moyes can turn his side’s fortunes around.
Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Stoke was United’s eighth loss of the season. Charlie Adam gave the home side the lead with a deflected strike off Michael Carrick, before Robin van Persie equalised from Juan Mata’s through ball.
Adam’s brilliant winner sealed the points for Mark Hughes’ side, with United failing to break down a resolute Stoke defence.
It’s ten years since Manchester United lost eight games in a league season. This season they’ve done it on the first day in February.

Sometimes its like Moyes is intent on proving all his doubters right by messing everything up at every opportunity.

Don’t worry United fans. You may still get 4th. Next year.

The promotion of Janzaj aside, it’s hard to think of a single noticeable thing that Moyes has done right since taking charge of #mufc

As good as Juan Mata is, and he is bloody good, I thought David Moyes would try and strengthen in more problematic areas.

If Moyes doesn’t chin at least three players and Steve Round in that dressing room, then there’s no hope.

Ok, all the insults aside, I feel terribly sorry for the Man Utd fans. A great team(though it hurts me to admit it) ruined by #Moyes

Someone who’s backing Moyes please point me to one piece of evidence that he is the right man for the job?

I really want Moyes to succeed. I’m a huge advocate of patience. There have to be at least some signs of progress/reasons to believe though.

Moyes will definitely get this season and next season too. But you’d have to think at many other clubs he’d be picking up a p45

Early injuries hammered Moyes’s system but United didn’t play with any real pattern in the second-half. Just players, everywhere.
