The Champions League had some fantastic goals last night. Van Persie, Fabregas and, er……Samaras were on the money, but Anthony Knockaert out did his illustrious counterparts.

Some of you may not have heard of the Leicester City midfielder before last night. The Frenchman signed for the Foxes for a reported £2.6 million, quite a sizeable fee for a Championship signing. Last night we got a glimpse of his talents.

While the first goal was a screamer, the second was even better. Standing close to the penalty spot, he nonchalantly back-flicked the ball into the net to seal a 2-0 win over high flying Huddersfield.

You can’t Knock goals of that quality.
