JOE is pretty sure that Leeds United versus Everton in the Capital One Cup last is not part of Trap’s DVD collection, but maybe he should take a look.

Aidy White may not be a name you are too familiar with, but the Leeds United winger scored a cracking goal last night in a 2-1 victory for the home side. The Yorkshire born player played for England U-19’s before switching allegiance to the Republic and has appeared 10 times, including captaining the side in the famous 4-2 win over Italy earlier this month.

White is another attacking left winger to add to our growing list of options in this position, though as James McClean will testify, Trap is not easy to win over on skill and trickery alone.

He can also fill in at left back and is highly thought of at Elland Road, winning the Young Player of the Year in 2009/10. It was his first goal for Leeds since he made his debut four years ago, but what a way to open you account.

With Aiden McGeady, Robbie Brady, James McClean and......ahem, Simon Cox, all ahead of him in the pecking order it really is one position we are well served in. If only we could spread the wealth.
