Man City have started off this season the same way they finished the last by winning a trophy. They beat Chelsea 3-2 in the Community Shield today.

The European Champions Chelsea led at the break 1-Nil courtesy of Fernando Torres who likewise started the new season as he finished the last, scoring in a final.
