Arsenal and Man United fans don’t claim to have a lot in common (except hatred for each other) but last night they were joined in unison as half-naked eejits invaded the hallowed turf of both Old Trafford and the Emirates Stadium.

At the Emirates in the Capitol One Cup Arsenal beat Coventry and two mates ran onto the pitch before Giroud knocked home his first goal from the spot for the Gunners.

Marc Overmars used to leave flame trails in his wake on the pitch playing for Arsenal, but the lightening pace of one of the streakers left many a steward flat-footed, until the gobshite fell over and was caught:

Meanwhile at Old Trafford Wazza and Sir Alex shared a chuckle together (a rare occurrence we’d wager) as a streaker legged on the pitch during their 2-1 victory over Newcastle...sadly Sky Sports were a bit po-faced about the whole thing and didn’t show us and hardcore nudity:
