Cork City kept up their title chase with a solid 2-1 win over Drogheda United at Turners Cross but unfortunately the game was overshadowed by a horrible tackle from Drogs midfielder Gavin Brennan.
Damien Richardson's men already had a hard enough task on their hands after going 2-0, John Dunleavy and Mark O'Sullivan with the goals for the Rebels, before this tackle from Brennan on substitute Josh O'Shea.
He really left referee Dave McKeon with no other option but to show the red card.
Take a look.
