Adidas announced to the world this morning that Lionel Messi will be wearing a new pair of boots. We're still not sure about them...

The Adizero f50 is more than a boot, eh? Yes, it looks like a pair of Crunchies too which could be handy when Leo needs a bit of a sugar rush during a particularly gruelling match. Our good friends at adidas love a fancy boot launch as reported here with their knitted boots. We love that they are prepared to go back to basics and release a decent, good old fashioned black boot like this one here. However, as loud and as colourful as Messi's new boots are, they don't have a patch on these bad boys created for him by adidas for his birthday.
