Video: Arsenal fan goes off the head at RVP, even sells him from Ultimate FIFA team
There are a lot of Arsenal fans out there angry at Robin van Persie’s publicly stated desire to leave the club, but we’re pretty sure none of them are as angry as this guy.
The news all Gooners were dreading became public late yesterday afternoon when their captain and reigning Footballer of the Year Robin van Persie announced his desire to jump ship from the Emirates, citing differing opinions with manager Arsene Wenger and Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis over the future direction of the club as his reason for wanting to go.
Although news of Van Persie’s wish to leave was hardly a major shock, it still caught plenty of Arsenal fans by surprise; certainly the two or three Gooners in JOE Towers pleaded vainly with their Twitter feeds to say it ain’t so.
Their reaction was one of dignified calm compared to one particular Arsenal fan, who went online to express his rage at the Dutchman’s decision to part company with the team he joined as a raw 20-year old in 2004.
Rather than attempt to describe his incensed reaction, it’s better we let you check it out for yourself in the video above.
So incensed was he, in fact, that he decided to remove him from his FIFA Ultimate team, as grave an insult as can be delivered in the direction of a professional footballer these days, we think you’ll agree.
This video might make painful viewing for Arsenal fans, for everyone else, it’s hilarious. Check it out at the top of the page above.
