Video: David Beckham is not taking his Team GB exclusion well

David Beckham decided to show Stuart Pearce who was the real 'Psycho' last night by going loco against San Jose.

While Olympic football ranks with dressage in terms of how much of it we will want to watch, we did feel a bit sorry for David Beckham when Stuart Pearce dropped him this week. Goldenballs did a lot of work to get the Games to London and while he might now be downgraded from a one-trick pony to a quarter-trick pony, the 38-year-old would still be a great asset for the Games to have, purely for commercial reasons. And before anyone says that has nothing to do with it, there is no more commercial event on earth than the Olympics.

Anyway, it seems Beckham is not taking the news well. Last night he lined out with Robbie Keane to take on the San Jose Earthquakes in the ‘California Clasico'. Yep, that’s what they call it.

Anyway, LA threw away a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3. Robbie didn’t score, Beckham did, see below.

But it was the post-match aggro that gets the headlines, which you can see in the main video..

Annoyed at a player called Sam Cronin’s perceived time-wasting, Beckham fired two balls at him, hitting him rather expertly with the second. That infuriated the Earthquakes, copped Becks a yellow and ensured more trouble after the final whistle, which was blown seconds later.

Becks was clearly livid after the game and while it wasn’t a South American style riot, Beckham getting aggro with a giant blue furry mascot certainly brightened up my morning. Enjoy.
