It was a corker of a game, but a few people copped Fergie fearing the wrong Bale in the pre-match interview.

In fairness, JOE is kinda afraid of Christian Bale too. He is Batman and Patrick Bateman after all.

Spurs went on to beat them 2-3 in a brilliantly entertaining game. As it turned out, Fergie was right to be worried about someone called Bale – but it was another Welshman called Gareth who did the damage at Old Trafford, giving Spurs their first win there since 1989.
