Arsenal midfielder Denilson doesn’t score many, but when he does...

After five years at Arsenal Brazilian midfielder was sent back to his former club Sao Paulo on loan last year. With the Gunners ticking along just fine without him, the 24-year-old remains in his homeland but he is still technically an Arsenal player.

We don’t know if this goal will make Arsene Wenger pick up the phone and bring him back to London but it certainly can’t hurt. Playing against Palmeiras, the midfielder scored a stunner this weekend, rattling home the ball from fully 35 yards.

Denilson only managed seven goals in nearly 100 appearances for Arsenal and from what we can find out, this is his first for Sao Paulo since his return.

Not bad, eh?
