Last night England’s impressive Under 21 team steam-rolled Sweden 4-0 in a friendly at Walsall. Liverpool target Tom Ince nabbed two, Sunderland’s Connor Wickham scored one and Liverpool’s Jonjo Shelvey also found the net.

With the score just 1-0, Shelvey was presented with a gift following a fine cross by Liverpool team-mate Jordan Henderson. But Shelvey contrived to head wide from three yards with the keeper nowhere to be seen.
