Following last week’s 80-yard effort from a goalkeeper in the Swiss amateur leagues, a player in a similarly obscure league has scored a similarly brilliant goal.

We’re not going to claim that we know an awful lot about this goal or its scorer, but a quick bit of research via Google Translate tells us it came via a guy known as John Fajardo, who was playing for Deportivo Credicoop against Mariscal Mille in the Copa Peru.

But don’t let the lack of information, or the fact that it’s a few days old, take away from the spectacular nature of the strike, which came from 80 yards out and flew into the goal over the head of the ‘keeper without touching the ground.

Some sceptics might say it was only a clearance but we’ll let you decide for yourself after watching the video above (the goal comes around 0:14 into the clip).
