A few days back we told you that Liverpool’s Luis Suarez would be an Olympic star this summer. He’s certainly looked it last night, with a tasty hat-trick.

We think Uruguay could be dark horses for this summer’s Olympic football tournament. Spain and Brazil are obviously class but if anybody can beat the big two it looks like it will be Uruguay.

Their front two will be Napoli’s Edinson Cavani and Liverpool’s Luis Suarez and the Reds striker showed he is in top form in a warm-up game last night against Chile’s Under 23s.

Suarez bagged a hat-trick, with the second a particularly tasty goal. Oscar Tabarez will be hoping he keeps this form for London. Brendan Rodgers will be hoping he keeps a bit for when he returns to Anfield.
