Video: Pedro and Falcao scored five goals between them last night. All of them were brilliant

Away from the Aviva last night, Pedro scored one of the best hat-tricks you’ll see in a long time and Falcao… well he just continued being Falcao.
We suffered at the hands of Spain during the summer so we have a lot of sympathy with what Belarus had to put up with last night, with Pedro scoring one of the best hat-tricks we’ve seen in a long time, certainly one of the cheekiest, with every goal involving a subtle dink of some sort.
You can see all of the goals in the video above, as well as his delicious assist for Jordi Alba’s first goal in Spain’s 4-0 victory. And to think, this guy isn’t always a regular for club or country. Scary stuff indeed.
In South America, meanwhile, Falcao continued to enhance his reputation as possibly the best player, certainly the best goalscorer, in the world after Messi and Ronaldo with a brace of beauties in Colombia’s victory over Paraguay (see video below).
There’s speculation this morning that Chelsea are ready to test Atletico Madrid’s resolve with a £50 million bid for the striker in January and on this evidence and indeed the evidence of the last few years, he’d be worth every single penny.
