In what's hopefully a harbinger of things to come on Friday, Robbie Keane was on the scoresheet last night to take the LA Galaxy to the MLS Cup Final.
Slotting home the third goal in a 3-1 win over Real Salt Lake, Keane's fourth goal for the MLS side meant that the Galaxy became the Western Conference Champions. Their next and final test of the season will be against Houston Dynamo in the MLS Cup Final on November 20, in their home ground of the Home Depot Center.
With Leon Best undergoing scans today ahead of the first Euro 2012 play-off against Estonia and Shane Long previously ruled out through injury, we'll need Keane firing on all cylinders in Tallinn on Friday night, so let's hope he's set to pack the same scoring boots for the trip.
As you can see above, we've got a feeling that Estonia's defending will be marginally better than that of Real Salt Lake's hapless back four, but we reckon last night's strike will give Keane the confidence to leave Estonia with an insurmountable first-leg lead. Here's hoping.
