Manchester United new boy Shinji Kagawa scored his first goal for the Red Devils today in China. Here it is.
While we have been getting excited about the prospect of Lucas Moura joining United this summer we almost forgot that Shinji Kagawa had already arrived at Old Trafford.
And the German double winner didn’t have to wait long to open his United account as he nabbed the only goal in United’s fairly dull 1-0 win over Shanghai Shenhua this afternoon.
The goal was set up by Bebe, who scored for United last week, the Portuguese player finally getting a shot to show Alex Ferguson what he can do. We will wait and see if he gets a run in a ‘real’ game.
Ireland’s Robbie Brady also started today's match, at left-back again. According to reports the young Dubliner defended okay but he had little joy going forward.
