Tim Howard is one of the most reliable goalkeepers in the Premier League but he committed a classic howler today.

The Everton stopper was having a relatively quiet game against the very non-threatening Wigan attack when a poor ball into the box by Jean Beausejour was hacked goalward, in error, by Phil Neville.

It should have been an easy one for the American to stop but he somehow lost it and fell over as the ball bobbled into the net.

This clip may haunt Howard for years but luckily for him a late Victor Anichebe goal ensured Everton escaped with a share of the points.
