The dropouts

As you can imagine, there have been quite a few changes made since the last edition of the Power Rankings, which was drawn up following the completion of the All-Ireland quarter-finals.

While there are an awful lot of positional changes, there are only three players who have exited the top 20 completely, with Cork's Alan O'Connor (previous rank 10), Dubs 'keeper Stephen Cluxton (12) and Rebel marksman Donncha O'Connor the unlucky ones to lose out.

Elsewhere, some of the players considered for the list but who just didn't make the cut included Neil McGee, Neil Gallagher and Anthony Thompson from Donegal, Ger Cafferkey and Barry Moran from Mayo, Dublin's Kevin Nolan, Kildare wing back Emmet Bolton, Armagh sharpshooter Jamie Clarke, Meath corner back Donal Keogan and free-scoring Longford corner-forward Sean McCormack.

Forgetting probably the best full back in the country? Neil McGee!
