The brave lads of St. Brigids GAA club in Blanchardstown were the first team to step up and take on McCoy's Target Tyre Challenge.
JOE headed to Dublin West to St. Brigids, the reigning football and hurling Féile champions, for our fisrt ever McCoy's Target Tyre Challenge so we were expecting some sharp shooting from their senior hurlers.
The object was to burst the McCoy’s paper target at the centre our Target Tyre.
The Brigids' lads, at their home ground of Russell Park, started out firing at our McCoy’s Target Tyre from the edge of the “D” but we moved up to the 20 to make it a bit fairer after a long, tough training session.
Two sharp shooters managed to hit the bullseye, Dara Doyle and Kieran Kellet, so they are the men the rest of the country's hurlers will have to match.
We'll be visiting another club next week to see if they can do any better.
