Tipperary kept on course for a first ever three-in-a-row Munster Minor Championships last night and their delight, and Cork dejection was there for all to see.
By Declan Whooley
The underage success in the Premier County shows no signs of slowing down and their dominance at this grade was again evident at Semple Stadium last night as they saw off the challenge of the Rebels by 0-11 to 0-08.
By all accounts it wasn’t the greatest game of football in the world, but that will matter little to the Tipp lads who had a nervy finish with Cork in search of an equalising goal.
The defending champions were however full value for their win and thankfully from their perspective did not end up regretting shooting so many wides in the first half and march onto another provincial decider.
This shot at the final whistle perfectly summed up the emotions of winning and losing.
