Look who’s back in the Cork starting XV for Sunday
Cork v Waterford on Sunday brings back memories of some epic clashes over the last decade. One man who was involved in all those classics is back in Rebel red.
On Sunday, Semple Stadium serves up another tasty double-header. The second act is Kilkenny v Limerick but the opener, Cork v Waterford, may be the game of the day.
The Munster rivals meet with little to choose between them but Cork boss Jimmy Barry Murphy has re-jigged his team from the Qualifier win over Wexford, and one name really stands out.
Sean Og O hAilpin will make his first Championship start in almost two years when he dons the famous number seven once again. After missing all of last year because Denis Walsh disposed of him, the return of the Na Piarsaigh man is sure to lift the Cork team.
There are two other changes as Stephen McDonnell comes in at full-back, while Daniel Kearney slots into midfield.
Waterford make just one change as Tomas Ryan comes in at corner forward in place of Gavin O’Brien.
