We now know who will play in the Munster U21 final, and Cork’s win over Limerick produced some top-class GAA snaps.
So far in the Under 21 Football championship we have had some fantastic pictures of what winning meant for Longford and a diving goal from Tyrone. Tonight it is Munster’s turn in the limelight.
Cork played Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds tonight and INPHO’s James Crombie captured yet more excellent images.
The game was fairly one-sided, and but for Limerick keeper James Brudair the scoreline would have been very ugly indeed. In the end, Cork won 2-14 to 0-11, with Brian Hurley top scoring with 1-5.

One of the best pictures from the night shows Brudair’s frustration after being finally beaten (above) but the shot below, of the full moon looming over the ground as Cork’s Tom Clancy claims a high-ball, is one of the GAA pics of the year.

Congrats to Cork, who will play Tipp in the final after the Premier County beat Clare in the other semi played tonight. The Munster final will be played April 10 in Semple Stadium.
