One of the most well known scenes in any sporting film has been dubbed over to the late, great Paidi O Se.
The multiple All-Ireland winner and manager will go down as not only one of the most colourful characters the game has ever seen, but one of the most successful men to ever grace the game.
As well as leading his native Kerry to All-Ireland glory, he brought Provincial success to Westmeath against all the odds, documented in the programme ‘Marooned’.
A scene from that documentary, where Paidi is motivating his players in the training ground is extracted and dubbed over Al Pacino’s Any Given Sunday to great effect.
A sporting hero meets a Hollywood legend, again illustrating the Ventry man's passion for the game. Pacino himself would surely be proud.
