GAA memes are one of the main things we’ll miss when the season comes to an end tomorrow, but thankfully they’ve saved one of the very best for last in Galway.

If you’re not already a fan of the Father Noel Furlong page on Facebook, you really should give it a visit because it’s a mine of funny material, both from Father Ted itself and on various other topical issues of the day, such as the All-Ireland Hurling Final replay this weekend.

Most of you will probably understand the reference instantly, but don’t worry if you don’t because it gives us an excuse to revisit the brilliant scene in Father Ted that inspired this meme, when Ted and Dougal were trapped in the caves along with Father Noel Furlong and friends.

As far as we’re aware there aren’t any rival ‘I really like Cody’ memes from Kilkenny doing the rounds as yet, but there’s still over 24 hours to go from now until throw-in so we wouldn’t rule it out.
