The likes of Pearce Hanley and Setanta ó hAilpín have been making waves Down Under in recent weeks, but Marty Clarke hasn’t gone away either, you know.
GAA fans in Down have been mourne-ing the loss of Clarke ever since he ended his two-year stint back at home and returned to Collingwood in the AFL but it’s good to see him perform as well in a black and white vest in Melbourne as he did in a red and black jersey when he was back on home soil.
Clarke was one of Collingwood’s star performers in a victory over St. Kilda earlier today and the highlight of his performance was undoubtedly a booming goal he kicked from just inside 50 metres in the third quarter... and didn’t he look happy about it?

Keep up the good work Marty.
