You just can’t keep a good man down. Setanta Ó hAilpín has made a dream return to action and scored an impressive hat-trick at the weekend.
By Declan Whooley
Considering he was sidelined for so long with an ACL injury, you could forgive the Corkman for easing his way back into action, but with eight goals in two games, he has shown little sign of rustiness.
Any fears that five goals on his first game back might have been a flash in the pan will have been dashed after a hat-trick at the weekend against the Gold Coast Suns with a great display of athleticism and accuracy.
Unfortunately for the GWS Giants, Ó hAilpín’s contribution wasn’t enough to avoid defeat as they went down on a scoreline of 148-104.
Great to see him back in action.
