We all knew Tyrone’s Stephen O’Neill was a GAA genius, but he reminded us with two sensational scores yesterday anyway, just to be sure.
Tyrone v Dublin in the Allianz League Football final should be pretty tasty. Dublin clobbered Mayo in their semi-final while Tyrone saw off Kildare. The Red Hands eventually won by four, 2-15 to 2-11 and two of those deciding scores were among the best seen at Croke Park in a very long time.
First Stephen O’Neill produced a sensational dummy before slotting over from a tight angle on the right and then he bamboozled the Kildare defence and slotted over an even tighter point off his left minutes later.
We’ve watched this video about 10 times already it really never gets old. Pure class from O’Neill. Roll on the final. And thr Championship.
