We hope that the rest of the Kilkenny panel actually managed to get Tommy out of the house after going to this much effort.
All-Ireland final victories deserve to be celebrated and celebrated in style and that’s exactly what the Kilkenny panel have been doing since beating Tipp in the replayed final on Saturday evening.
Earlier on, we brought you a clip of
practically the entire panel descending on Tommy Walsh’s (very nice looking) house in Tullaroan like a pack of zombies yesterday and thanks to Ciara Allen, who was present at the scene, we can now bring you a longer version of the clip that features Tommy’s own mother and the Kilkenny players audibly shouting his name in an attempt to get him out.
Tommy’s mother didn’t seem too perturbed by the presence of such a large group of strapping men chanting outside her son’s window and as was pointed out by one of the female members of the entourage, there’s quite the range of different coloured trousers on display.
With the craic that good so early in the afternoon, no doubt they went on to have some night afterwards.
