GAA clubs right across the country know the difficulty at times of fielding a side when numbers are depleted, but they could well take a leaf out of this Kerry side’s book.
Located in Portmagee Co. Kerry, Skellig Rangers are one of the most rural clubs in the country and struggling to field a side for the start of their league campaign, decided to call on some players who had hung up their boots for the club.
Leaning the A-Team as the theme, their four recruits are eager to do their bit for their parish – pride in the jersey and all that – even if their footballing skills are a little rusty.
Already proving to be a hit on YouTube, anyone who has ever played can relate to this one. Though of course JOE does not necessarily endorse using shoe polish to impersonate B.A. Baracus!
Cheers to Brian O’Connor on Facebook for sending this our way.
