Video: This is why you should always keep your eye on the ball at a GAA match

An O’Neills ball to the head is never a pleasant experience.

This video is not new, in fact we think it’s from the 2011 edition of the Ulster Intermediate Sevens, but it is still bloody hilarious and made us laugh today.

In a game between Tullylish and Urney, the Urney No 8 kicked what looks like a cracking point off his left. But the classy score is not what makes this video great. It is the unsuspecting lad in red behind the goal who we assume was getting ready for the next match.

Blissfully unaware of the game behind him the ball lands squarely on his head from a tremendous height and he goes down under the impact.

That would have given him a headache for a day or two...
