Who wants to see Westmeath’s Gary Connaughton dressed up as an Elvis priest from Fr Ted?

A Tubberclair GAA stag party featured an All-Star cast of Fr Ted characters. Well, one anyway.

Thanks to Danny Keegan, who sent us the pictures, and Peter Evans, who was the man the stag party was held for, we now have pictures of one of Ireland’s best GAA stoppers dressed as an Elvis priest from Father Ted. We think he may be going for Fr Dick Byrne from the classic ‘Annual All Priests Stars in Their Eyes Lookalike Competition' episode from Series 1. In fairness to the non All-Star members of the stag, they all put in huge effort for the big trip to Navan, as you can see from the second picture showing Connaughton, 'Mrs Doyle' and 'Pat Mustard'. And in case you are wondering, Connaughton is so big, that’s a full-size guitar he’s holding.
