The Bioxsine blog Week 6: We're finally getting somewhere
We're now a month and a half into the Bioxsine blog and this week JOE's Oisin Collins sheds some light on shedding hair.
I was a tiny bit sceptical about the Bioxsine shampoo and serum when I first started using it. I’ve never used anything like it before and to be honest, I never thought I would ever have to use anything like it in my lifetime. I’ve always resided in the fact that if I were to go bald I’d just shave my head.
However, that was back in my hay day when I had more hair on my head than I did on my balls back. Sadly, the tables have turned and recently enough my hair has been falling out quicker than the Dutch football team.
I’ve been doing a bit of research and there are two main types of hair loss, the first being hereditary and the second being temporary. You can check out the list of temporary causes for baldness over on the Bioxsine Ireland website, which has been aptly named keepyourhairon.ie.
Sadly for me, my hair loss is hereditary (thanks a lot dad) and there is little I can do to regrow any lost hair. Androgenetic Alopecia is actually the scientific term for going as bald as a bowling ball - for those of you who didn’t already know.
Basically, testosterone gets turned into a different chemical called DMT while its still in the body. This DMT stuff causes gradual miniaturisation of the hair follicle. Miniaturised hair follicles then produce thinner and less resilient hairs and over time they fall out… It’s pretty much as simple as that.
However, by using this natural Bioxsine Forte stuff I’m actually slowing the whole hair loss process down to a crawl, and better yet I can actually notice it.
But what does it do? For those of you who don’t know, Bioxsine Forte reduces hair loss thanks to its 8 times Biocomplex B11 formula. Biocomplex B11 is effective against hair loss thanks to the herbal flavonoids, unsaturated fatty acids, bêta-sitosterol and zinc which are all in its ingredients. It aims to strengthen, increase resistance and add volume to your hair while also creating a healthy environment required to revive weak hair follicles.
I’ve noticed that my hair is getting thicker and other people are beginning to notice it too, so that’s a bonus in itself. Plus, I find myself pulling fewer hairs off my head when I run my fingers through my hair, so that’s good.
As I’ve been saying throughout the blog, this isn’t an overnight miracle cure, so we’ll have to give it time to see what happens in the long run. However, it’s been working pretty well for me so far and I’m definitely happy out this week.
Check back next week to see how Oisin gets on in the Bioxsine hair loss blog. Bioxsine is available from all good pharmacies nationwide. For more on the all-natural hair loss treatment, check out www.keepyourhairon.ie.
