Got nuts? Researchers claim walnuts can help your sex life
Are you having trouble in the sack? Is Viagra just a little bit too expensive? If so, then fear not, as researchers claim walnuts can help your sex life.
They’re not the sexiest of edibles and you certainly wouldn’t spray some whipped cream on one and feed it to your partner. However, that doesn’t mean a few well-protected nuts won’t help you out in the boudoir.
According to researchers from the University of California in the US, eating around 70 grams of walnuts everyday will help to keep you virile. We imagine there will be a good few Waldorf salad’s ordered for lunch today…
After following a number of men, the researchers found that eating 70 grams of walnuts each day can actually improve the vitality, motility and the morphology of sperm in blokes aged 21-35 - which probably means you.
Apparently, there are a number of theories as to why human sperm has declined in quality compared with our extremely fertile ancestors (when was the last time you heard of someone having their seventh child?). The blame is being attributed to an increase in pollution, poor lifestyle habits and bad diets.
So don’t be surprised if the missus buys loads of walnuts in next week’s shop.
