Want to get some exercise and help out a worthy cause? Then the DID Electrical Cycle 4 Life in aid of Temple Street next weekend could be right up your street.
Irish cyclist Dan Martin, who won the Liège-Bastogne-Liège Classic in brilliant fashion last weekend, will be one of the hundreds of cyclists in attendance next week as part of a fantastic event which is expected to raise up to and in excess of €200,000.
Donations raised will all go to the refurbishment of the top flat in Temple Street Hospital, which currently houses some of Ireland’s sickest children, many of whom suffer from Cystic Fibrosis.
The event kicks off in Dunboyne in Co. Meath bright and early next Saturday morning and there are routes to suit all levels, whether you just fancy stretching the legs with a 5km cycle, pushing yourself that bit further on the 66km route or tagging along with the experts on the 143km advanced route.
For more information on how to register for the event, how to make a donation to Temple Street and how to become a sponsor, check out the event website and follow Cycle4Life on Twitter and Facebook for further updates.
