Well ahoy there matey! Today be September 19 and that means it’s the world famous Talk Like A Pirate Day where, well, everyone is encouraged to talk like a pirate. Captain JOE has even dressed up in full pirate attire for the day and we’re definitely the finest pirate booty that you could ever lay your eyes on.

Here are ten everyday phrases that you can use for the day that’s in it. Arrr!

Blimey! ‘Tis a rotten day at sea- Ah pants, I’m very disappointed with the weather today.

Aaaarrrrgggghhhh! Things are not shipshape, Savvy? – Everything isn’t grand. Do you understand?

All hands on deck or else I’ll make ye walk the plank – Everyone start working or else I’ll get angry.
