Some animals are best observed from a distance…
Whenever JOE makes a trip into the great outdoors there are always a few rules that we always abide by.
1) Make sure you have all the proper equipment.
2) Maps are pointless because winging it and getting hopelessly lost is much cooler.
3) Don’t piss off any animals that can attack you.
It seems that this New Zealand drone pilot doesn’t subscribe to our last point if this encounter with a black woolly ram is anything to go by.
The drone captures some of the magnificent scenery that New Zealand has to offer before swooping down to get an up-close-and-personal look at a ram in the wild.
It seems that the ram didn’t take kindly to being filmed as it absolutely destroys the expensive piece of technology. What happens after when the pilot goes to retrieve the broken drone is just as interesting. Note to self, do not annoy rams. Ever.
