Justin Bieber fans are hardly the sharpest knives in the drawer but after seeing this clip of dozens of fans screaming at a Bieber look-alike in a hotel room, we can't help but laugh.

An unnamed Aussie teen has become a YouTube star for his starring role in a clip shot last weekend at Melbourne's The Olsen hotel - where a throng of a screaming teenage girls mistook him for the teen idol. "It's so amazing how stupid they f**king are" laughs his friend filming the scene.

The confusion arose from the fact that not only does the video star resemble the Canadian teen, but that he was also staying in the exact same hotel as the Biebs, who is visiting Australia to promote his new album.

We're not explicity saying that "Beliebers" are dumb but they do have previous, after falling for a similar prank by a Swiss Bieber lookalike back in April 2011.
