You can find out loads about the design on the the brief on the Modscape website, where it says that "entry to the home is through a carport on the top floor, where a lift vertically connects the user through each of the descending living spaces. Internally, the living spaces feature minimalistic furnishings to ensure that the transcendent views of the ocean and the unique spatial experience of the location remain the integral focal point of the design".
In other words, you use a lift to get up and down and the inside is very nice.
Obviously living in a house that hangs pretty precariously over a cliff will put some people off, while others would worry about the damage that might be done if a storm comes in and waves are bashing repeatedly against the big windows.
That said, we'd love to give it a try for a while; it'd probably be easier to snap this up than it is to buy a property in some parts of Dublin at the moment.
